Logo Placeholder

We are excited to announce our second Citizens Academy program beginning in February 2024.

This is a free, six-session program designed to help Millbrae residents eighteen years of age and older learn more about their city government. These sessions will be held over the course of three months.

This academy provides an excellent opportunity for the community to become familiar with the various functions and services of local government. Participants will hear presentations from the various City Departments about their respective operations. Participants can benefit from unique interactive learning and a behind-the-scenes experience.

The program's goals include increasing citizens' knowledge, promoting civic engagement, preparing future community leaders, and providing networking opportunities.

Registration will open on December 5 for applicants to apply to participate.

Space is limited to 35 seats, and program capacity will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must be at least 18 years old and must be a Millbrae resident.
