Get ready for a breath of fresh air with our new electrify landscape equipment program! Thanks to the $22,000 Peninsula Clean Energy Agency Grant, we're excited to offer fantastic incentives for Millbrae residents and local landscapers.
Incentives Offered:
Millbrae Residents: $200 or up to cost of equipment for each household with proof of residence.
Commercial Landscapers: $400 or up to cost of equipment for landscaping businesses with a valid Millbrae business license.
Application Checklist:
- Buy an electric string trimmer or electric leaf blower at a Millbrae Business.
- Submit the following documentation to Environmental Programs or in-person at the City Hall Public Works Counter.
- Application: completed and signed incentive application
- Receipt: Copy of your electric string trimmer or electric leaf blower receipt
- Photo: Photo of the electric string trimmer or electric leaf blower and/or box showing equipment name that matches with receipt

California State Law AB 1346 and Millbrae's Climate Action Plan Measure 09 are paving the way to a cleaner, greener future. This program is designed to make your transition to electric leaf blowers and string trimmers easy and affordable, all while supporting local businesses.
No incentives will be administered for purchases made before the program start date. No incentives will be administered for gas-powered equipment.
